Central Marin Fire Authority is a consolidated fire agency established through a Joint Powers Agreement between the City of Larkspur and the Town of Corte Madera. The agency began formal operations in 2014 and became an official employer in March 2019. As a publicly funded agency, Central Marin Fire is committed to transparency and fiscal responsibility in managing the resources entrusted to us by the communities we serve.
Our Finance and Administrative Services division oversees the preparation and administration of the agency’s budget, coordinates financial reporting and auditing, and ensures compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations. This includes oversight of salaries, benefits, pensions, and long-term financial planning to support sustainable fire and emergency services in Central Marin.
